Hi, I’m Zoe Hiljemark

I’ve worked exclusively with photographers for more than 10 years now, championing their work, helping them to reach more people and get their art in front of potential clients and the media.

I’ve created The Visible Photographer™ membership because I want you to stay visible and keep moving forward with your photography marketing, without
feeling like you have to do everything alone.

I’ve wanted for a while to create a more accessible way for photographers to work with me beyond bespoke one-off consultations or done-for-you support, and this is it! This membership is a new way of working with me that builds on the supportive community feel I’ve been building through local in-person events.

I hope these answers help make your decision to join The Visible Photographer™ an easy YES!

No, but this membership is best suited to photographers who already understand the basics of marketing and visibility, even if they struggle to implement things consistently. You absolutely do not need to be an SEO expert or highly confident with marketing.

It’s designed for professional photographers across all genres. The common thread is usually that members want to become more visible and consistent with their marketing, but struggle to prioritise it alongside everything else.

You may have something specific you would like to focus on in the months ahead. For example, you may wish to revamp your website, start blogging, get consistent with email marketing, or secure more press and PR.

That said, having a set project isn’t essential, but it will help you to focus, and with my support, you’ll finally get it done!

No. There are no masses of content to work through. It’s much more about support, accountability, and actually getting things done consistently.

There’s up to two hours of contact time with me per month in the live Q&A calls, during which we can discuss your marketing challenges and I can give advice on strategy and tactics.

Plus, there’s up to two hours of co-working time AND the monthly content review, which will help you to elevate your marketing (and is worth your investment alone)!

N.B. The private community space will be there for connection, encouragement, accountability and support between members. Zoe will be actively involved in the membership, but this is not designed to function as unlimited private mentoring or on-demand support between sessions.

I am running an initial pilot membership over June and July 2026, ahead of a full launch in September.

This is designed specifically for busy photographers. If you attended everything, it would usually work out at around an hour or so per week.

You can join all or as many of the live sessions as you wish – there is no obligation or expectation to attend all – just join the sessions that would be useful and that work around your client work and other life commitments.

Fortnightly group sessions / Live Q&A
The membership includes supportive group discussions around visibility, marketing strategy and content ideas, inspired by the challenges and questions of the community. (They will usually be held on Week 1 and Week 3 of every month – dates and times to be confirmed). 

Fortnightly co-working “Get It Done” sessions
Also included is dedicated time and accountability to finally tackle those important marketing tasks. (They will usually be held on Week 2 and Week 4 of every month – dates and times to be confirmed).

Live support calls will be held Monday-Thursday, during my usual office hours of 9am-3pm. There won’t be any live support on Fridays.

Each week, you’ll be invited to submit a simple update about your priorities, progress and what you’d like to focus on next, via an online form.

The process is designed to feel supportive and manageable, not overwhelming, and this habit of regular review and reflection will help you make more successful choices for the week ahead!

After receiving your check-in submission, I’ll then send personalised feedback, encouragement and guidance via voice note to help you keep moving forward.

You can submit anything visibility or marketing-related, once per month. This could include:
● a blog post draft
● website copy
● newsletter content
● a PR pitch
● or a marketing idea you’re working on.

*You may submit up to one piece of content per month for review. If you’d benefit from more in-depth or more frequent strategy or done-for-you support, I may recommend one of my mentoring or done-for-you services separately.
