Why Am I A Photography PR Consultant?
My photography marketing journey began after I chose Karen Wiltshire to photograph my son as a newborn, back in 2012.
I’d worked as a marketing and PR consultant for ten years by then and was on maternity leave from a PR Director role at a leading marketing agency. The following year, I decided to set up my own business. Karen came on board as one of my first photography clients.
Working together, she quickly realised the positive impact of the local and national media features I secured for her and my support with SEO and blog content creation. So, she kindly introduced me to other photographers who also needed PR and marketing support. I’ll be forever grateful for how she helped me get a foot in the door of this incredible industry!
A short time later, finding myself fully booked with photography clients, I decided to specialise in photography PR and marketing. I haven’t looked back since!
As a photography PR consultant, I now work with professional photographers both in the UK and abroad.
